Greetings! We have made it to Spain, but I’m going to catch up on scenes from Portugal.

Last time we “spoke”, we were in Porto, Portugal. This is a beautiful old town, with very modern additions, so some of the photos may show the old and new together. We spent two nights at the Hotel Boa Vista, which translates to “good view”. It was located very close to the ocean, and it had truly spectacular views.

Some of us took the hop-on-hop off bus to see the city, some took boats up the mouth of the Douro River, and some of us visited Port Cellars – as usually, we had to taste the local foods and beverages!
