Today is day 18 of our 19 day Model A traveling adventure. This bucket-list tour has exceeded all expectations. We have visited some of the most beautiful spots on the planet while driving our Model A Fords.

We Love Onlookers
Along the way we have shared our cars and details of our adventures with onlookers, fellow tourists, and fellow car-enthusiasts. We met people from all over the world who were interested in our vintage gems. The woman you see posing in the photo below was visiting Jasper from Thailand. She and the members of her family took turns posing in front of our cars.

My favorite onlooker was a man from Germany who we met early in the tour. He was wearing a Harley Davidson t-shirt and a Ford jacket. His greatest wish was to see vintage Fords and Harley Davidsons while visiting North America. He knew all about Model A’s, but had not seen one close-up. I regret that I did not get a photo of him grinning from ear-to-ear after looking inside our Model A.
Car People are the Best People
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Car people are the best people. The photo below shows two local gear heads who stopped to talk shop about vintage cars. A scene like this was duplicated hundreds of times over the last 18 days. Car people are everywhere. They love to talk shop and they love to solve problems. Tomorrow I’ll introduce the Calgary Model A Club and tell about how a team of talented Model A enthusiasts helped save the day.
