Highlights from Utah

Day 12 (October 11, 2021): Moab to Monument Valley, Utah, approximately 149 miles.

We drove a little ways north to see Arches National Park, however the park limits the number of visitors, and by the time we arrived it was already full and we turned around to head south.  

Our first major photo op was at Wilson Arch, so that helped to make up for missing Arches National Park:

When we reached Blanding, UT, we stopped to visit Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum, which was wonderful.  

Shortly before we approached Monument Valley, we attempted to get photos of Forrest Gump Hill, but it was already past sunset:
