From Seaside to Yachats

Saturday morning, we had an incredible experience with the Sons of Beaches!  They are an amazing non-profit group that rescues cars who drive on the beach and get stuck in the sand.  So they met us and we spent almost 4 hours playing on the sand.

One of the highlights was the shipwreck of the Peterdale Iredale which grounded in 1906,  Here are the remains we could see.

We finished Saturday in Yachats.  Here’s a view from our room, and shots of the world’s largest spruce tree which was a short walk from the hotel.
