The Model A Touring Club’s USCAN tour began yesterday in Leavenworth Washington. Leavenworth is the start of the multi-week tour that will excite onlookers and tour-goers as the cars climb north to Canada.

The charming town greeted the travelers as they arrived to stay at the Enzian Inn for 2 nights. Some Model A’s arrived in trailers while others drove the distance from their home.

Tonight (Monday, September 9) is the meet and greet dinner where tour participants will gather to enjoy dinner. Tour leader Marcus Cunnick along with Bob Krause have been busy planning and creating need-to-know instructions for tour participants.
Tomorrow drivers will head to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the next destination.

Several tour participants will be sharing tour information to friends and loved-ones through pictures and text. Pat Burbank does a great job chronicling her and Jay’s many travel adventures via their blog. Check out their blog at https://jayspatsadventures.blog/2024/09/08/model-as-joining-for-a-fab-tour/ for some fabulous insight into their participation on the tour. Here is a screenshot of their first post where Pat details the adventure of the drive from Cambria CA to Leavenworth in Jay’s Military Maxi, Terri Padgett’s Radio Flyer, and Tim’s Blue Van rescue vehicle.
