Today’s drive was challenging, but it led us to our most northern point in Spain. First, however, we drove though the countryside near Logrono to the beautiful Bodegas Beronia to learn about the wines in the region.

Then we headed out. However, as we approached Bilbao, we had significant down hill stretches – 10% to 15% grades, which challenged the drivers and left no time for the photographers to document that portion of the trip.

Once we reached Bilbao, we began to explore the city.
