The official beginning to the South Dakota/Black Hills tour is just hours away. Tour-goers are arriving by various modes of transportation. This includes airplane, driving their Model A, and modern vehicles towing their Model A’s. Those of us who arrived by plane were (will be) pleased to re-unite with our transported Model A’s at a storage facility a short distance from the Rapid City airport.
The tour will begin tomorrow with a welcome dinner in Spearfish.
As a reminder, here’s a glimpse of the itinerary.

Here’s a few photos of the transported Model A’s stored at the Stromer’s Garage facility.
Happy Touring, gang. Sorry that we aren’t along with you!

Hi friends,
Cyndi and I wish all of you a safe and fun filled trip. We will see you next year.
Most of you know Glen Johnson from the Hangtown a’s . We recently heard the sad news that Glen has dimentia snd is selling most of his cars. Glen was one of the best car restorer and enthusiasts that I have known. Anybody getting a car from Glen will be buying a gem. His 29 station wagon is superb. Original wood, one of 5 built in 1928, a special car.
Our prayers go out to Sharon and their family. This is a hard one for me as I have known Gken since 1973 when he helped me with a restoration of a 1929 station wagon.
